COPs Unit, Three Oaks, Health Dept. partner with CDC for Great Mills Road Cleanup

On Tuesday, May 11, CDC staff joined Captain Sarah Smith, the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office COPs Unit, Three Oaks Center director Sasha Seenath, and Health Hub program manager Chris Shea to plan for the Second Annual Great Mills Road Cleanup and other neighborhood events scheduled in Lexington Park on Saturday, June 3, 2023.

Deputies met with CDC staff and other partners at the Sheriff’s Office District 4 Station in Lexington Park to collaborate on the upcoming cleanup and the St. Mary’s County Health Department’s Health Hub Open House. Both events are planned for Saturday, June 3, 2023. Law enforcement will be present on Great Mills Road and in the surrounding area to ensure the safety of all event attendees.
