A wicked good time at Halloween in the Square

The third annual Halloween in the Square, hosted by Reach Back & Lift 1, on Saturday, October 29th was a blast! St. Mary’s CDC staff and board members enjoyed the sunny afternoon by passing out candy to trick-or-treaters and informing the community about upcoming projects.

Joined by the CDC Board of Directors chair Evelyn Hernandez and vice chair Helen Daugherty, Executive Director Taylor Smith and SMCM intern Keyon Taybron spoke with the costumed kids and their parents, passed out coloring sheets as part of The Hopeful Project and answered questions about the CDC’s St. Mary’s Square renovation project.
