upcoming EVENT:
holly days extravaganza

LexBA is excited to announce our 2nd annual Lexington Park Holly Days event held at the Lexington Park Library! Holly Days is now a two-day affair! A Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place on Saturday, December 7 from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. featuring the Bay District Volunteer Fire Department to help us light a very tall and elegant tree!

Then, on Sunday, December 8 from 1-4 p.m., a free Holly Days Extravaganza will be open to the public both in and around the library! This event will feature pictures with Santa, arts and crafts for all ages, a vendor shopping experience, carolers from St. Maries Choral Arts, and festive decorations!

Be a VEndor, sponsor or volunteer

Vendors: We invite you to apply to be one of the indoor craft vendors selling items for holiday shoppers. There is a small fee for craft vendors, which includes an 8’ x 9’ space. Interested? Sign up below and we’ll be in touch soon!

Sponsors: We would love to have your organization as a sponsor for our 2nd annual event! As a sponsor, your business will be featured prominently on signage and advertising for the event. Click the link below to learn more about sponsorship opportunities for the Holly Days Extravaganza!

Volunteers: Santa needs elves, the workshop needs helpers, decorations need to be hung…. There are plenty of ways to help make Holly Days a success and we invite you to consider participating directly with either the tree lighting or the extravaganza or both! Sign up by clicking the button below.

HO HO WHO?

Santa himself will be joining us at the Lexington Park Library and his helpers will be sending guests home with goodies. Families are invited to take photos with Santa.

Pssssst! Do you recognize Santa up close? He certainly bears a strong resemblance to one of our County Commissioners.

Tree lighting

Join us outside the Lexington Park Library as the skies begin to darken on Saturday, December 7. At 6:30 p.m., Commissioner Scott Ostrow will deliver a few remarks to open the tree-lighting ceremony. Music will play, and we’ll count down to the moment volunteers from the Bay District VFD light the tree! The tree-lighting ceremony is graciously sponsored by Millison Management.

Entertainment & Arts

Carolers from St. Maries Choral Arts will roam the event to create a festive holiday atmosphere. They will perform music from several holiday genres.

For those who like hands-on arts & crafts, the St. Mary’s County Arts Council will be hosting artists to lead a holiday ornament make-and-take opportunity.
