Changes to Required Cleanup Attendance
For everyone’s convenience, rather than requiring you to attend a specific day, we require that you attend Public Hours for at least one hour (OR complete another task outside of the garden) before the start of June. Some of you have already done this! I’ll continue to send out reminders to those who haven’t attended yet as the season goes on.

Finding your plot

Head to the garden and check the wire markers with red flags for your plot number

Watering & Irrigation
Current Water set UP:
Method 1:
Water barrel in center of garden

Directions:
- Ensure the tab is parallel with the hose – it’s currently taped to avoid confusion.
- Squeeze trigger – you may need to hold the hose down towards the ground to help the water come out
- Fill watering can!
Method 2:
Hose near painted posts
Directions:
To turn on water:
- Attach hose to spicket (righty tighty, lefty loosey)
- Pull up blue lever
- Turn black lever on green head to run water
Before leaving, BE SURE TO:
- Pull down lever
- Drain hose
- Wrap hose around hanger
- Detach hose from spicket

Prepping & Maintaining Your plot
Help yourself to tools and gloves! Before leaving, please wipe off the tools with a rag and water.
To fill your plot, you can either:
Bring your own organic soil supplement
Use the Master Lock code to access the compost pile from the back gate. The compost pile is the small pile of darker material in between the two mulch piles.
